Represented by Collection Coordinator Ingrid Mida. The collection documents the history of Canadian garment industry through an assortment of 3000 artifacts dating to the 1830’s. Through intellectual leadership of Ryerson we will be able to highlight the role of Canadian design and manufacturing on North American clothing and textile trends. Ryerson University has pledged access to their Fashion Resource Collection, and agrees to coordinate our project with a Ryerson initiative, providing an additional 100 photographs of clothing on mannequins. Bradley will spend two weeks at Ryerson, garnering 300 textile images, augmented by photos taken by the Ryerson students.
